DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 4th Annual Long Island Sound Coastal Resilience Forum on October 27 for an opportunity to connect\, learn\, and be inspired! This year we are holding a joint Suffolk and Nassau Forum at the Hyatt Regency Long Island (1717 Motor Pkwy\, Hauppauge\, NY 11788). Registration is required by October 20th.<br />\\n<br />\\nThe goal is to bring together Long Island Sound decision-makers and practitioners working to address shoreline erosion\, flooding\, and other coastal issues to share information on best practices\, discuss challenges\, identify opportunities to increase resilience\, and enhance coordination across communities.<br />\\n-Hear updates and insights from NYS agency partners<br />\\n-Learn about innovative adaptation strategies<br />\\n-Explore resilience tools and resources<br />\\n-Engage in a fun and interactive adaptation scenario planning session<br />\\n<br />\\nRefreshments and lunch will be provided! <br />\\n<br />\\nThis event is hosted by Long Island Sound Partnership and New York Sea Grant\, in partnership with Suffolk & Nassau Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
