SUMMARY:2026 Long Island Sound Coastal Resilience Field Trip Tour
DESCRIPTION:As part of the 4th Annual Long Island Sound Coastal Resilience Forum we are hosting a Long Island Sound Coastal Resilience Field Trip Tour on October 28 for more opportunities to connect\, learn\, and be inspired in the field! Registration is required by October 20th. <br />\\n<br />\\nJoin us to get a guided bus tour of 3 project sites and learn from experts along the way! <br />\\n-Patchogue Shorefront Park Living Shoreline<br />\\n-Cedarmere Preserve Invasive Species Management & Green Infrastructure Project<br />\\n-Sands Point Preserve Bluff Restoration<br />\\nThere will also be discussions on the bus about other local resilience projects and initiatives.  <br />\\n<br />\\nChoose a bus departure location that is convenient for you: <br />\\n-Eisenhower Park (East Meadow) @ 8:00 am <br />\\n-Hyatt Regency LI (Hauppauge) @ 8:30 am <br />\\nBoth buses will follow the same itinerary and arrive and depart from the 3 project sites at the same time. Buses will return to locations around 3 pm. Lunch will be provided to bus trip tour participants!
