NOAA Coastal Inundation Dashboard
The Coastal Inundation Dashboard is an interactive decision-support tool that provides real-time and forecast water levels, and historic flooding information at National Ocean Service (NOS) water level stations across the U.S. and its territories. Users can access this information to understand near-term flood risks, such as impacts from tropical cyclones or nor’easters, and long-term inundation risks, such as high-tide flooding and sea level rise. The product supports coastal flood planning, response, and mitigation across timescales.

SHPO Survey & Planning Grants
The Connecticut State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) offers Survey and Planning Grants for a variety of historic preservation planning purposes. These grants are part of a state commitment to provide increased funding for open space, farmland preservation, historic preservation and affordable housing. SHPO is now accepting Survey and Planning Grant applications for State Fiscal Year 2026 (July 1, 2025-June 30 2026). There will be $480,000 available and grant awards will range from $5,000-$20,000.
Eligible activities include: Historic Resources Inventories; Archaeological Surveys and Reports; Historic Designation Reports; Municipal Historic Preservation Planning Reports; Pre-Development Studies.
