Planning Support Program Awards

The Long Island Sound Resilience Planning Support Program provides planning support to advance resilience-focused projects by matching communities within the LIS Coastal Boundary across NY and CT with qualified contractors to assist with assessing local environmental risks, conceptualizing project ideas, and conducting preliminary planning efforts. The Program is supported with funding from US EPA through the Long Island Sound Partnership, New York Sea Grant (NYSG) and Connecticut Sea Grant (CTSG). Want to learn more? Check out our Assistance Programs page.

Since 2024, over $2 million has been awarded to 31 communities through the program, with no match required from communities.
